Chiefs release injury report ahead of the Super Bowl clash against the Eagles.

Ahead of the much-awaited Super Bowl LIX clash on Sunday, the finalists Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles provided their first injury report on Wednesday. The Chiefs and the Eagles will battle it out at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, and the winner will script history of a kind. Should the defending champions emerge victorious again then it will be their third consecutive Super Bowl title, a feat that no team has ever achieved in the rich history of the NFL. On the other hand, if the Eagles come up with the goods then not only, they will avenge the loss of Super Bowl 57 but will also wrap their hands around their maiden Super Bowl win.

Kansas City Chiefs Injury Report Feature Three Individuals Including Patrick Mahomes

Three individuals are featured in the Chiefs injury report, and what's concerning for the Chiefs is that the list includes quarterback Patrick Mahomes as well. Mahomes is listed in the sheet for the same ankle injury that he has been enduring since KV's 21-7 win over the Cleveland Brons on December 15.

The Chiefs rested Mahomes in week 18 and made the best use of bye in the wild card round by providing him more rest. Yet, he has been a constant on the injury report throughout the playoffs. However, what has come as a respite is that the injury has so far not appeared to affect his play or participation in the game.

Like last week’s projection, the Chiefs revealed the two-time NFL MVP was a full participant in practice.

Offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor (knee) was a full participant. Wide receiver Skyy Moore was limited due to an abdomen injury.
