The Kansas City Chiefs fans anticipate each time that global superstar Taylor Swift appears live to cheer for Travis Kelce. However, that hasn't been the case in the last two games Kelce has featured in leaving fans concerned about their relationship. But, it had nothing to do with Kelce.
Why did Taylor Swift miss Travis Kelce's last two games?
Things are fine between Kelce and Swift as the main reason for the latter missing the games was her security. According to PageSix, there were security concerns that led Swift to miss Kelce's Week 3 and Week 4 games.
"If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns. She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance," the source said.
The last two games played by the Chiefs were in Atlanta and Los Angeles which is far away from the Arrowhead Stadium. Safety has become a major concern as recently Taylor Swift's show in Vienna was cancelled as the police got to know about a planned ISIS attack at her concert.
Many people enjoy watching Swift cheer for Kelce but some believe Swift is behind the tight end's slow start in the campaign. National Football League (NFL) insider Todd McShay has criticized Swift for the downfall of Kelce.

The tight end for Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce has not had a great start to the season. While speaking on the Ryen Russillo podcast, Todd McShay blamed Taylor Swift for Kelce's downfall.
"Every show I watch, every pregame show, halftime show, postgame show, weekday show, every broadcast I watch for the last few weeks, it’s like, are we not allowed to say that he’s out of shape, that he’s been partying all offseason? He’s been jet-setting around with the most famous person probably in the entire world," McShay said.
"I want you to take a picture from preseason 2022 and then take a picture preseason 2024. They are barely the same human being. Everyone’s like, ‘We got to get him the ball, why isn’t he part of the offense?’ The defense is double-covering. Here’s the thing, bottom line with Kelce: The coverage and the respect he gets is the same. The athlete is not," McShay concluded.
