Story Highlights:

The New York Yankees lost the three match series against the Boston Red Sox 3-0.

The New York Yankees are currently playing against Los Angeles Angels in a four game series.

The New York Yankees are regarded as one of the best offensive teams in the Major League Baseball, but their form has dipped of late. Ever since their 4-3 loss to their arch-rivals Boston Red Sox on Saturday, the Yankees have failed to score a single home run, which is concerning for their fans.

What did Cody Bellinger had to say?

On Tuesday, outfielder Cody Bellinger addressed the situation that New York Yankees see themselves in.

It's been a fight, Bellinger told reporters. Obviously, we're not getting the job done with runners in scoring position, not getting a lot of base runners, not causing traffic. We gotta keep going, we gotta wake up tomorrow and get going. There’s always a certain point where it’s not necessarily going your way, and you feel it.

You feel extra pressure to get the job done. At the end of the day, it’s the same. We had good conversations. We're going to keep going and get out of this thing. It's a little rut we're in, and we gotta get out of it. The good teams get out of it, and I got full confidence in the guys here (to do that).

New York Yankees on the verge of unwanted history

As the New York Yankees head into the series finale against the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday, Aaron Judge and co. will have only one thing on their minds, which is to score a run.

In the history of the franchise, the Bronx Bombers have been shutout seven times before. Before this season, the last time Yankees were in the same situation was back in 2016. But, they never have went for four games without scoring a run in their history.

What Cody Bellinger said in his statement, the New York Yankees would have to find their way back in the next game if they have to avoid the unwanted history.

The New York Yankees have won 42 games and lost 31 this season as they are first in the American League East standings.
