Businesswoman and famous model Kim Kardashian shared the latest acquisition from the Takashi Murakami x MLB Tokyo Series collection.

What did Kim Kardashian buy from the Takashi Murakami x MLB Tokyo Series collection?

With the help of Takashi Murakami's art, the MLB wanted to offer the fans a blend of baseball heritage along with Japanese culture. The limited-edition collection dropped on March 7 and Kim Kardashian is among the fans who have bought a piece from the collection.

On Wednesday, Kim Kardashian posted a picture of a jersey from the collection.

She has ordered a Shohei Ohtani No. 17 jersey that featured Takashi Murakami's art on it. The Dodgers jersey designed by Murakami features pink flowers and petals. On the other hand, Chicago Cubs jersey included smiling sunflowers with red and blue petals.

The Los Angeles Dodgers managed to win the first game of the Tokyo Series with a 4-1 victory over the Cubs. In Wednesday's finale, the Dodgers again managed to walk away with a 6-3 win. The Dodgers players and their families landed in Tokyo on Thursday and invested their time in exploring the city, enjoying local delicacies and made the most of their trip.

While his teammates were enjoying their time in Tokyo, Ohtani said,

I’m happy that my teammates got to experience Japan on and off the field, but most importantly coming away with two wins is something really huge for us. I’m glad we’re going to head back to the U.S. on a good note.

Dave Roberts on Shohei Ohtani's stellar performance infront of his home crowd

Shohei Ohtani played an important role in Dodgers recent win over the Cubs in the Tokyo Series as the Japanese international was playing at the Tokyo Dome for the first since his signing for the MLB franchise.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts spoke on Ohtani's impact and said,

I know Shohei puts his pants on like we all do — one leg at a time. But if there’s ever a superhero, I think Shohei just seems like a superstar. In the biggest of games, the biggest of moments, he always seems to deliver.

On Tuesday, Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and on Wednesday, he recorded his first home run of the season, one RBI and two walks.
