The team missed both the players as they struggle to find offensive options around Nikola Jokic, who dropped 61 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in the heartbreaking loss. It was also the third time that a player had recorded 60-point triple-double in an NBA game. 

Jokic played for 53 minutes in the double-OT while other players such as Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon registered 53 and 47 points, respectively. Murray has been the second best player for Nuggets this season as he averages 21.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game. On the other hand, Porter Jr. is the third best scorer as he averages 18.2 points per game along with 7.0 rebounds. 

Apart from Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr., the Nuggets will also miss the services of Julian Strawther as he is recovering from a knee injury. 

The Denver Nuggets are third in the Western Conference with a record of 47-29 and are on a one game losing streak. The San Antonio Spurs see themselves thirteenth in the Western Conference with a record of 31-44 and are on a five game losing streak.
