The Golden State Warriors are all set to host the Sacramento Kings on Thursday, March 13 at the Chase Center. The team will look to extend their 5-game unbeaten run as they have become a force to reckon with ever since acquiring Jimmy Butler from Miami Heat. They have only lost just one game in the last ten games they have played. The main talking point for the Warriors is whether their newly acquired star player, Jimmy Butler will face against the Sacramento Kings or not.

Will Jimmy Butler play against Sacramento Kings?

Jimmy Butler is not listed on the injury report for the Golden State Warriors that makes him a starter for the game against the Kings. The forward has been the shining light for the Warriors ever since arriving here and have rekindled their hopes of winning a championship, it could be the first for Jimmy Butler if they go the full distance.

He will go against the likes of high scorers such as DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine when both the teams meet on Thursday. Since his arrival at the Warriors, the 35-year-old has been averaging 17.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.3 steals, 0.2 blocks in the 13 games he has played so far. His presence will be an added advantage for the Warriors frontcourt alongside veteran Draymond Green.

Stephen Curry on noise surrounding Jimmy Butler at the Golden State Warriors

The four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry shut down all the rumors of the ‘noise’ surrounding Jimmy Butler’s fit with the team. Curry made it clear speaking on 95.7 The Game while talking to Matt Steinmetz and Daryle Johnson that he had no reservation about Butler’s persona before the duo became teammates at Warriors.

There’s noise everywhere. I hear everything. I try to filter through everything to know what’s real and what’s not. I talked to Draymond [Green], I talked to [Warriors general manager] Mike Dunleavy, who was [Butler’s] veteran [with the Chicago Bulls] back in the day, and they spoke so highly of who Jimmy was, according to NBC Bay Area News.

The Butler trade has proved to be working out brilliantly so far as the Warriors have racked up 12 wins in the last 13 games when the two-way wing has stepped on the court. The main question arises whether the Golden State Warriors can go further in the season after their solid surge after the blockbuster trade.
