The Pelicans proved to be no match for the Lakers' firepower on the day and lost the game by a heavy margin, 115-136.

Luka Doncic reacts to LeBron James' Remarkable Achievement
Following the culmination of the game, LeBron James' new teammate, Luka Doncic, was asked about the achievement of the NBA legend. The Slovenian lavished praise on King James, calling the achievement "unbelievable". Doncic could not resist bringing his humor to the forefront, stating that LeBron James may even strike "70k" one day.
"It’s amazing. Watching him do this stuff at this age, it’s just unbelievable. 50k points, I can’t even explain how insane that is. He might get to 70k, you never know.”
