The Milwaukee Bucks suffered a massive setback on Sunday as the team's star point guard Damian Lillard sustained a leg injury, and as a consequence had to walk off the field after just six minutes into the game. Lillard's departure was always going to cost the Bucks, and they ended up losing the game by a fair margin, thereby reaching the verge of elimination, trailing 3-1 to the Indiana Pacers in the playoff round 1.

Giannis Antetokounmpo on Damian Lillard's Injury
Following the culmination of the game, Bucks' star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo opened up on the injury suffered by his teammate and talked about it in length.
“Yeah, you just got to you got to talk to him, you know, as much as you can. Oh, I'll be honest with you, like if I was in his position, I like I really don't care about like what people think and what people say."
"Like you want to play, you want to help your team win and uh for sure uh you you're going to accept everybody's like um you know, support and prayers. But I think Dave wants anybody feeling bad for for him. like I wouldn't want anybody feeling bad for myself. Um but at the end of the day, I think everybody's going to, you know, pray for him, support him, be there for him, talk to him, and he's part of our team. He's our leader, and um no matter what the outcome is, we going to be there for him.”
As Damian Lillard could not walk on his own after enduring the injury and relied on staff's support to move out of the court, there are doubts about whether he will be able to feature in the crucial Game 5, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
