The team were able to force their WNBA semifinal series to a win-or-go-home Game 5 without star player Caitlin Clark on the court. The imperious trio of Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell and Odyssey Sims faced off against the opponents to defeat them with a score of 90-83 in Sin City on Tuesday night.
Fever had lost two consecutive games, Game 2 and Game 3, against the two-time champions but managed to power up by tying the best-of-five semifinal series. Stephanie White’s side led 23-21 by the first quarter as Mitchell scored nine points. She overall recorded 25 points, four assists and three rebounds. Further, Boston powered the franchise with her strong performance where she recorded 24 points and made 10 free throws. She also recorded 14 rebounds, and five assists.
