Is Anthony Davis playing in Mavericks vs Rockets NBA 2025-26 season game? 

No, Anthony Davis will not play for the Mavericks against the Rockets on Monday, November 3, 2025. The player has been ruled out following injury as he is suffering from a low-grade left calf strain.

The former Los Angeles Lakers star has appeared in five games this season so far and is averaging 20.8 points and 10.2 rebounds. Alongside Davis, teammate  Dereck Lively has also been sidelined for the fourth consecutive game. In addition to these names, the injury-plagued team will be without Dante Exum, who is recovering from a right knee injury. 

Meanwhile, Daniel Gafford wasn't named in the injury list who made his season debut on Saturday. Although the Rockets have Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams in their lineup, which might be a potential advantage for the side, they also have their players sidelined, including Fred VanVleet, who tore his ACL, and Dorian Finney-Smith, who is recovering from an ankle injury. Additionally, Jabari Smith Jr. is questionable to play with a right ankle sprain.
