The Minnesota Timberwolves received unfortunate news in the form of superstar player Anthony Edwards’ injury. The shooting guard was forced to leave the game against the Indiana Pacers after just three minutes on the court.
The player did not return to the game and watched his side from the bench. The franchise is set to face the Los Angeles Lakers next in the ongoing 2025-26 NBA season and fans are curious to know if the key player will be playing against the 17-time NBA Champions.

No! Edwards won't be available for the game against JJ Redick’s side. According to a report by Shams Charania of ESPN, the Wolves player is set to miss two weeks of the season owing to a right hamstring strain. According to the team, an MRI revealed the strain and he'll be reevaluated in one week.

Edwards sustained the injury in the first quarter on Sunday, and the injury was initially described as hamstring tightness. The player was substituted by Bones Hyland during the break, after which it was announced that Edwards would not return to the court. Further, Mike Conley replaced the 24-year-old in the lineup on Monday night against the Denver Nuggets.
Edwards, the three-time All-Star, had just begun his sixth season and he will now be sidelined for a minimum of eight games. The Timberwolves are currently 2-2 in the ongoing regular season. In their most recent encounter against the Nuggets, the team lost with a score of 127-114.
