Jason Whitlock slams NBA for publicity stunt

The NBA said the game was rescheduled to Sunday to "prioritize the safety and security of the Minneapolis community." The postponement comes after another shooting incident took place in Minneapolis, where a 37-year-old man lost his life in a confrontation with a federal agent just two miles south of the Target Center.

Saturday's incident was the third shooting and second death in the city this month that had the involvement of the federal agents. In response, there have been city wide protests in Minneapolis over the last few days.

After the NBA's announcement, whitelock tweeted:

"This is all orchestrated."

Whitlock did not expound on his statement, but many fans reacted to his first tweet, sharing their criticism of the NBA. Several speculated that the move might be the league's publicity stunt.

Whitlock also replied to ESPN's post of game postponement:

"Propaganda League."

After Sunday's game, the Warriors and the Timberwolves will play again on Monday at Target Center.

Analyst says makes big claim on Steph Curry amid Warriors-Jonathan Kuminga saga

With just two weeks left before the February 5 trade deadline, the rumors regarding the future of Jonathan Kuminga have intensified. NBA analyst Charles Barkley said that Golden State Warriors icon Steph Curry might be forced to compete with an average team.

"The biggest loser in the whole thing is Steph because they were not contenders now," Barkley said on Saturday's "Inside the NBA." "Now Steph is gonna finish the last part of his career on a mediocre team. And that's the thing that's disheartening about it."

Coming into the season, Golden State is considered to be one of the contenders for the championship. However, there have been doubts about the team's ability to go on a deep playoff run. Aside from a disgruntled Kuminga, Warriors star Jimmy Butler suffered a season-ending injury.

Golden State is once again forced to make moves to surround Curry with a better squad. The team needs to find a replacement for Butler's production and try to maximize a return for Kuminga.
