Kevin Durant reveals his plans for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics

In a conversation with ESPN, he revealed that he is open to represent Team US for the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

"You guys, the media, have projected that. That narrative, where did the last dance thing come from? I didn't say I wasn't playing. LeBron said he wasn't. You didn't hear that from me," Durant told ESPN.

Although, he accepted that he wants to earn the selection purely on the basis of form and current form.

"I've got to stay on top of my game. I'm not expecting, I want to produce on the floor and make Grant and whoever is making the decisions, want to put me on the team. I don't want — not just for seniority. I want to still prove I can help the team win."

Kevin Durant to break LeBron James' record?

Considering his point of selection, Kevin Durant will be nearly 40 at the time of 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, which would require a high level of intensity from him. Currently, LeBron James is the oldest player from the NBA to represent Team USA in the Olympics. LeBron James was 39 years old when led Team USA to win the gold in the 2024 Olympics.
