Latest update on Austin Reaves

However, Reaves is placed on the injury report for the second time ahead of Wednesday's hot clash against the San Antonio Spurs. He is placed as questionable, citing right groin soreness, joining five others on the Lakers' injury report.

Latest update on Luka Doncic

Luckily, Luka Doncic is perfectly fit. He is off the injury report after also missing Monday's contest, his fourth of the season. Doncic had missed three games for the Lakers between October 26 and October 31 because of left finger and left leg injuries. LA provided him rest against Portland because of those ailments after playing on Sunday against the Heat and on Friday against Memphis.

Jaxson Hayes is another player placed on the injury report. The 7-footer twisted ankle on Monday against the Trail Blazers in the fourth quarter and never re-entered the game. Hayes is placed as probable ahead of Wednesday's clash, citing a right ankle sprain. He will likely play, barring a late setback.

LeBron James to remain sidelined

Meanwhile, LeBron James, Maxi Kleber, Adou Thiero and Gabe Vincent are set to remain on the sidelines. Kleber, who is facing an abdominal muscle strain and has yet to make his season debut, nearly returned on Monday. He was placed as questionable but downgraded to out. LA is listing him as out for this game.

James is continuing his recovery from sciatica and is without an official timetable. There are no updates on Thiero, either, who is recovering from a knee injury. the LA Lakers recalled him from South  Bay (G League team) before the clash against Memphis, but his status has not been upgraded on the main roster.

Vincent, meanwhile, could miss three more weeks with a left ankle sprain he picked up on October 26 against Sacramento.
