Lakers’ GM Rob Pelinka had hilarious response to Nico Harrison’s Luka Doncic trade idea

Nico Harrison was recently fired by the Dallas Mavericks amid their struggling form in the ongoing NBVA 2025-26 season. The former general manager of the franchise has been subject to heavy criticism following his shocking idea of trading Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. The trade has been working, but not for the Mavericks, but for JJ Redick’s side.  

Anthony Davis has been an outstanding player for the Lakers. He also powered the team in their recent success; however, the player has been injured for the Mavericks and has not been able to perform to his full potential. A 100% fit Davis is fire, but that's what the concern is: his health. Meanwhile, the Slovenian, on the other hand, has been carrying the Lakers in the absence of team superstar LeBron James. While the Mavericks are 14th in the Western Conference, the Lakers are back on track with a solid 8-3 record as they stand 4th in the conference.
