After enduring a loss against the Boston Celtics the other day, the LA Lakers will return to action tonight. They will take on the Brooklyn Nets tonight at the Barclays Center. Considering the firepower and form, the Lakers are expected to get the better of the Nets tonight. Still, the Nets will fancy their chances especially when the talisman of the opposition is set to miss out on the game.

Will LeBron James Play Tonight?
LeBron James picked up a groin injury in the game against the Celtics and therefore, he has been ruled out of tonight's game. Per the latest update by ESPN's Shams Charania, it will take at least one to two weeks for LeBron James to recover from the injury. Thus, the Lakers will have to come out with an apt contingency plan to lessen the impact of King James' absence.
In the absence of LeBron James, the onus will fall on Luka Doncic. After a quiet start to his stint with the Lakers, the Slovenian has found his footing at the Lakers and has come to his own in recent games. However, it could get worse for the Lakers if Doncic also misses out.
