Luka Doncic will visit the UCLA Health Training Center following his sixth All-Star appearance at the Intuit Dome this weekend. Lakers teammate Jake LaRavia seemed eager to welcome him back to training, only to face trolling by Doncic, who responded with a one-word reply.
Luka Doncic trolls LaRavia
The cheeky exchange took place in the comments section of Doncic's latest post on Instagram, as the Slovenian celebrated his All-Star appearance.
"My 6th All-Star. What an honor. Thank you! 🙏," Doncic captioned the post.
LaRavia replied to the post, expressing his excitement to linkup with Doncic.
"See you soon," LaRavia commented.
Doncic, however, did not quite match the excitement and funnily replied with a blunt, one-word reply to LaRavia's message.
"No," Doncic wrote.
Pulling the leg of his teammate in typical fashion, the interaction displayed the relationship the two share. LaRavia, who joined the Lakers in the summer, penning a two-year $12,000,000 contract, has impressed in his first season, becoming a solid option off the bench.
Luka Doncic's impact in the LA Lakers
On the other hand, Luka Doncic remains one of the best players in the league, with his All-Star nomination speaking for itself. The Slovenian player tops the league in scoring at 32.8 ppg, while also dishing out the third most assists at 8.6 apg.
With the Lakers sitting fifth at 33-21, they remain firmly in the playoff race and will be looking to raise their level down the stretch. Los Angeles returns to regular-season action on Friday, hosting the LA Clippers at Crypto.com Arena.
