The Mavs will get the opportunity to close the prevalent abyss tonight when they will take on the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedEx Forum. Luka Doncic Will Not Feature Tonight Against Memphis Grizzlies

The answer to the question is an unfortunate "No" as Luka Doncic is still nursing his injury. Doncic sustained a strain on the left calf during the Mavericks Christmas Day contest against Minnesota Timberwolves.  Doncic has remained out since then. As Luka Doncic is a formidable figure in the team, his absence was surely going to impact the results and in turn it has dearly. Besides Luka Doncic, star point guard Kyrie Erving has also been sidelined for the match due to a lumbar back sprain.

Mavericks Season Hampered By Injuries 

Injuries have severely bruised the season of Dallas Mavericks. Besides Luka Doncic, star players like Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson and Dereck Lively II have also spent their respective stints on the sidelines due to injuries. Thus, it has been that kind of season for the Western Conference defending champions. 

Having lost four of their last five matches, the pressure is on Kidd to find answers. Mavericks have a respite in the form of a couple days off, they will take on the Grizzlies next, who are seeded second on the Western Conference table. Thus, the Mavericks will face an uphill task on Monday.
