Curry, who will turn 38 in March, also breached the 40-point benchmark earlier this week, finishing with 46 points on Wednesday in their first game against San Antonio, a 125-120 win. As per Slater, it was his first stretch of consecutive 40-point games since 2022.
Curry dropped a game-best plus-9 rating in 36 minutes during Friday's victory, adding four rebounds, two assists and two steals.
In that earlier game against the Spurs, Curry's 46-point performance came on 13-0f-25 shooting, consisting of 5-of16 from deep and 15-of-16 at the line, while also registering five assists and five rebounds.
