Stephen Curry made history on Wednesday night, surpassing NBA legend Charles Barkley on the all-time scoring list during the Golden State Warriors' 118-112 victory over the Boston Celtics. The 34-year-old, who has won four NBA championships, scored 27 points and recorded a triple-double, moving his career total to 23,747 points. This achievement places him 30th on the list, overtaking Barkley, who now has 23,750 career points at 61 years old.

Barkley, a Hall of Famer, has often been a vocal critic of Curry and the Warriors, even predicting that the team would struggle this season. Despite those remarks, Curry’s milestone is a testament to his incredible scoring ability and longevity in the league.

Elsewhere in the NBA, the Cleveland Cavaliers extended their winning streak to a franchise-record nine games, defeating the New Orleans Pelicans 131-122. Donovan Mitchell led the Cavs with 29 points.

Meanwhile, the LA Lakers were defeated 131-114 by the Memphis Grizzlies, despite LeBron James scoring a season-high 39 points. Lakers head coach JJ Redick praised James' effort, saying, “He played hard. Almost 40 years old and he played the hardest on our team. It says a lot about him.”
