The Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has emerged as arguably the biggest crowd-puller in the WNBA. Her every activity gets a lot of traction from fans worldwide and one could assume that at present her star power is even bigger than A’ja Wilson and Napheesa Collier. Moreover, it should be noted that her WNBA journey is at an initial phase and in the future, she could enjoy popularity like LeBron James. So, will anyone be challenging Caitlin Clark? Yes! As per Stephen A. Smith.

Stephen A. Smith Names Young Superstar Who Could Have the Same Pull Power as Caitlin Clark
The famed analyst vouches for a young woman, who he believes could have the same stature as that of Clark once she arrives in the WNBA.
Stephen A. praised Juju Watkins' performance this season, as she once again leads the NCAA in points per game. Noting her performance, Smith questioned why the 19-year-old USC star isn't receiving the same attention as Clark during her Iowa Hawkeyes career, despite her continuous domination.
“When are we gonna start talking about [Watkins] the same way we talk about Caitlin Clark?” the longtime sports analyst asked candidly. Clearly the best talent in women’s college basketball and the leader of the impressive 26-2 Trojans, Smith believes a talent as special as Watkins should be getting her flowers.
Stephen A. paid heed to Watkins' propensity to score 27 points per game and had brought forward the figures of her legendary collegiate career with a 24-point-per-game average in year two.
“If you look at her skillset, her ball-handling ability, her driving ability, her shot-making ability, this sister is something special,” Smith said of the talented guard.

Not the first time Smith Took Notice of Juju Watkins
Smith is advocating for Watkins to start garnering the attention she receives. However, this is not the first time that Smith has promoted this stance. Back in December, Smith laid out a similar opinion while talking about Watkins' incredible skillset and yet going under the radar.
Smith is adamant that Watkins starts receiving the attention she deserves, but this isn’t the first time the 57-year-old has brought up the USC star’s surprising lack of media coverage this season.
“We should be talking about [JuJu Watkins] the way we talked about Caitlin Clark last year,” Smith said. “JuJu is special, I’m telling you that right now. She is the package! She is gonna be special.” The First Take host’s opinion hasn’t changed over time, and there is no drop in the performance of Watkins as well.
