Anthony Edwards's Hilarious Take When Asked To Dwell Over Luka Doncic's Trade to the Lakers

As Luka Doncic comes as a clunky heavyweight, the media often pays attention to the weight of the Slovenian and bringing it to the notice of Edwards during the All-Star weekend, one reporter asked the Timberwolves' star man about how much he weighs in comparison to Doncic. 

“Reports said Luka Doncic was 270 lbs. What’s the heaviest you’ve been, maybe in the off-season?” the reporter asked.

Ant-Man gave a vehement answer and, in the process, took a subtle jibe at the Mavericks. “240. I hope they ain’t trade me when I was 240.” 

Edwards's answer is taken as a dig at the Mavericks because in hindsight of the trade, the Mavs' staff has repeatedly reasoned the concerns related to Doncic's weight as the primary reason behind his eventual trade. However, the answer could not convince the Dallas fans, who have protested over the Mavs decision, which also saw Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison receiving death threats.
