The next poster boy of the NBA has been in continuous discussion among fans. Ahead of the 2026 All-Star Game, San Antonio Spurs star player Victor Wembanyama claimed that he is ready for that role.

During Saturday's All-Star practice, NBA insider Chris Haynes questioned Wembanyama for his thoughts about becoming the next face of the league.
"Of course, I definitely see it happening," Wembanyama said. "I think it's the natural course of things. Supply and demand, and I'm here to supply."
In his second straight NBA All-Star selection, Wembanyama was picked as a Western Conference starter. With the new All-Star Game round-robin format, the Spurs player will play for Team World.

In 40 games, Wembanyama is maintaining an average of 30.3 points, 13.7 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game on 51.1% shooting, including 36.3% from 3-point range. He has led the Spurs to a 38-16 record and the No.2 spot in the Western Conference. The entered the All-Star break on a six-game winning streak, having won eight of their past 10 matches.
