The Golden State Warriors have released a massive update on Stephen Curry’s injury. The guard’s knee injury has been a huge concern for the franchise and the fans amid the struggling season. 

The American basketball star also missed the recently concluded All-Star game. While everyone has been waiting for the details, Steve Kerr’s side has finally updated on his injury, which is not very entertaining. 

Warriors release huge update on Stephen Curry's unfortunate injury

The Warriors released a statement on Thursday regarding Curry’s knee injury. The statement read: 

“Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who has missed the last five games due to patella-femoral pain syndrome/bone bruising in his right knee, underwent an MRI Wednesday night.”

The franchise further read: 

"The MRI confirmed the injury and showed no structural damage. He will be re-evaluated in 10 days."

Meanwhile, as per Shams Charania, Curry has been suffering "persistent swelling and pain" in the knee. The NBA star has now been out for five games, and his return timetable remains unclear. He was ruled out of the Warriors' home game on Thursday night because of patellofemoral pain syndrome.
