Lakers are 7-2 this season and second in the Western Conference

JJ Redick was caught on camera as he turned off his mic before talking to Luka Doncic during the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the San Antonio Spurs. The Lakers' head coach has become the talk of the internet in recent days following his reactions during the game.

The franchise is on a dominant run in the absence of team superstar LeBron James, and Redick’s chemistry with the team is something everyone has been praising. The Lakers had their fifth straight victory when they defeated the Spurs with a score of 118-116. Meanwhile, the head coach’s recent activity during the game, as he talks to Donci, has fans wondering.

In a video going viral on the internet, the 41-year-old seemingly turned off his mic ahead of starting a conversation with the Slovenian.

Previously, during the team’s victory against the Miami Heat, the former Duke Devils player had gone viral for his furious reaction on the court when the franchise gave up a fourth-quarter basket. The Lakers’ coach was heard saying, “The F*** are you doing? Jesus.” The Heat broadcast described his reaction as he was “going berserk,” while the Lakers broadcast mentioned it as “hopping mad” and “angry.”

Redick also went viral recently while talking to a referee on the sidelines alongside Doncic, smiling. Maybe this is the reason the head coach had decided to turn off his mic before he could say anything.

Meanwhile, the Lakers are 7-2 this season and second in the Western Conference. They will next face the Atlanta Hawks, who have levelled their win and loss record with 4-4 this season and are 7th in the Eastern Conference.
