The September 13 boxing card has multiple breaks, and the camera went on to show off some prominent personalities in attendance. While some of the big names like Mike Tyson, Dave Chappelle, Julio César Chávez and many more received a warm welcome, the crowd's reaction to the NBA analyst was different from what it was for others.
Soon after the crowd cheered for Sofia Vergara, it turned into heavy boos as soon as Smith stood up from his seat to acknowledge his attendance. However, despite the cold welcome, the 57-year-old smiled at the crowd and waved to his fans.
Smith is famous for his outspoken and controversial opinions. His remarks and vocal criticism of NBA players and others sometimes trigger a lot of fans. His in-person confrontation with LeBron James in March and his on-air exchange with Kevin Durant in June this year are well-known. Apart from sports, the New-York city native also speaks on politics. While some fans find it entertaining, others dislike it as well.
Crawford defeats Alvarez to win the undisputed super middleweight champion
In the main event which went all 12 rounds, Crawford defeated Alvarez to become the undisputed super middleweight champion as the judges scored the fight 116-112, 115-113, and 115-113 in favor of the 37-year-old. According to a report in the Complex, the event which was broadcast live on Netflix from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, recorded over 70,000 in attendance.

The new champion showed off his stunning hand speed and footwork to conquer the Mexican. In addition to the undisputed title, the American also became the first male boxer of the four-belt era to earn undisputed status in three different divisions. The Omaha, Nebraska native has previously bagged undisputed titles at super lightweight and welterweight.
