The Houston Rockets will miss Kevin Durant when they face the Indiana Pacers on Monday. Durant is placed as "out" on the injury report with a left ankle sprain. He appeared when the Rockets registered an 11-107 win against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, playing 38 minutes on the night.

Durant's durability this season is really appreciable, as the former League MVP will miss only his third game. The two-time NBA champion has played great basketball, showing no signs of slowing down even in the twilight of his playing career.
He claimed his 16th All-Star selection on Sunday when he was named in the reserves. The only players with more All-Star game appearances are LeBron James (22), Kareem Abdul Jabbar (19) and Kobe Bryant (18).
Durant is averaging 26.2 points per game on an uber-efficient 51.0% shooting, consisting of 40.5% from beyond the arc. Apart from shouldering the bulk of Houston's scoring load, Durant has made a major contribution in other aspects as well, averaging 5.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists.

Other than Kevin Durant, the Rockets will also miss Steven Adams and Fred VanVleet. Adams is on the sidelines because of a left ankle injury and VanVleet is getting fit from a right ACL injury. Meanwhile, Isaiah Crawford and Tristen Newton are with the G League team and are not available to appear against the Pacers.
