India's young batter Shubman Gill is currently in Dubai for the Asia Cup 2025, where he is serving as Suryakumar Yadav's deputy in the mega event. Gill was rewarded with vice-captaincy for Asia Cup 2025 after his impressive captaincy in Tests during the five-Test match series of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 in England. Young Team India fought well against England as the five-Test match series ended in a 2-2 draw. 

Gill, who is currently preparing for India's high-voltage clash against Pakistan, was seen doing a rapid-fire round with the broadcasters, where he picked India's ICC Champions Trophy 2025 win as his most special moment in his cricketing career so far.  Here are the excerpts.

I think nine. Nine? Yeah.

Q: For the rest of your life, if you could have to bat with only one player, who would it be?

Gill was India's vice captain in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, where he scored 188 runs in five outings at an average of 47. The batter will now be seen in action in India's Asia Cup 2025 clash against Pakistan which will take place on September 14 at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.
