In a pivotal moment during the 4th T20I against Australia, Indian spinner Ravi Bishnoi delivered a game-changing spell that significantly altered the course of the match. Coming into bowl in the fourth over of the powerplay, India had already conceded 30 runs in the initial three overs of the chase, making the task of defending 174 runs in Raipur appear challenging.

Bishnoi's impact was immediate as he bowled his very first ball of the match, dismissing Josh Philippe and putting a brake on Australia's rapid start. Throughout his spell, Bishnoi effectively contained the Australian batting line-up, complemented by Axar Patel, who further tightened the screws on Australia in the middle overs.

When asked about whether bowling in the powerplay was a pre-decided strategy, Bishnoi clarified that there were no specific plans, and his entry during the powerplay was a response to the damage inflicted by the Australian openers.

"There were no particular plans for my bowling in the Powerplay. It was the demand of the situation, and I just came and executed what I could do. Surya bhai (Suryakumar Yadav) asked me to bowl in the Powerplay, and I am happy to come and deliver for my side when needed. The atmosphere in this dressing room is great, we're all of similar age and have played together a lot," Ravi Bishnoi said after the match.

Reflecting on his performance, Bishnoi expressed satisfaction and acknowledged the support from the Indian team management. He mentioned that the ball was coming out of his hand nicely, and he was pleased with his coach Sairaj Bahutule's encouragement.

"The ball is coming out of the hand nicely. Happy with my performance. My coach (Sairaj Bahutule) likes the way I am performing. He said to keep doing the same things as I am doing now. He backs our strengths and backs us 100%, he says feel free to try new things that you're sure about," Bishnoi concluded.
