The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that the 2025 Champions Trophy would use a hybrid format, with India's matches in the eight-team competition being played at a neutral location. "India and Pakistan matches hosted by either country at ICC Events during the 2024-2027 rights cycle will be played at a neutral venue," the ICC stated in a statement and it was also reported the same by Sports Tak last week. As a result, Pakistan will not be visiting India for their matches at the 2025 Women's ODI World Cup or the 2026 T20 World Cup.
