Rahul's fielding lapse occurred in the 23rd over, allowing Jaker Ali another life. This was Jaker's second reprieve in the match. In the preceding over, Ravindra Jadeja bowled a drifting full delivery towards the leg-stump, enticing Jaker Ali into a flick.  The batsman stepped out of his crease, presenting a clear opportunity for a stumping.

However, Rahul failed to collect the ball cleanly, missing the stumping chance. After Rahul's missed chance, Kohli was spotted shouting in frustration.

However, Mohammad Shami came to hunt down Jaker at the score of 68 in the 43rd over to leave Bangladesh teetering again at 189/6.
