Pakistan and Bangladesh lost their first two CT clash.

Pakistan and Bangladesh's ICC Champions Trophy 2025 farewell match has been interrupted due to rain at the moment in Rawalpindi. This will be a dead rubber clash as both teams are already ruled out of the semifinal contention after losing their first two league matches of the tournament.

With no toss at the time due to rain, there are chances that the overs will be reduced if the match is to be played later today. There is still time for a match to be played at the Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan and Bangladesh ODI head-to-head

Pakistan and Bangladesh have faced each other in 39 matches in ODI. Out of these 39 games, Pakistan have won 34 whereas Bangladesh have come out victorious on 5 occasions.

What is the cut-off scenario for the rain-curtailed game in ODI cricket?

If the rain continues the over will be reduced according to the DLS method. ODI cricket allows a minimum of a 20-over game when rain plays spoilsport. The cut-off for the 20-over game is decided on the day as it does take 3.5-4 hours for 40 overs to be played on any given day.

What is the cut-off time for a 20-over game today?

With the Pakistan vs Bangladesh game scheduled to start at 2:30 PM IST earlier, it is expected that the cut-off time for the 20-over game would be around 6:30-7 PM IST. The toss was scheduled to take place at 2 PM IST.

This is the second time that rain is playing spoilsport during a Champions Trophy 2025 clash. Earlier, the Australia vs South Africa clash also got washed out due to persistent rains at the same venue.
