India's celebrated all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, has shared an encouraging update on his fitness status, generating excitement among fans as India gears up for the third Test against England, slated to begin on February 15 in Rajkot. Following a hamstring injury he sustained on the fourth day of the first Test in Hyderabad, Jadeja has been actively engaging with his followers, sharing insights into his recovery journey through social media.

On February 12, Monday, Jadeja uploaded a photo on Instagram showcasing himself in cricket attire, practicing in the nets, accompanied by an optimistic caption, "Looking good in this attire."

This development is eagerly anticipated by Indian cricket enthusiasts, especially considering the upcoming match in Rajkot, Jadeja's hometown, where he is expected to receive a warm reception at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

India survived without Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul in 2nd Test

The injury occurred during the first Test's dramatic chase against England, where Jadeja, after making a significant impact with both bat and ball, was unfortunately run out by England's skipper, Ben Stokes. Despite his efforts, including claiming five wickets across two innings and scoring 87 runs in the first innings, Jadeja had to exit the field due to the injury, leaving fans and teammates concerned about his participation in the series.

The absence of Jadeja, along with KL Rahul - who also sustained an injury - was keenly felt during the second Test, leading to significant adjustments in the team's lineup. While undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, Jadeja's potential inclusion in the squad for the remaining three Tests hinged on his recovery progress.

Positive signs for Team India

The recent sighting of Jadeja practicing in the nets signals a positive turn for the Indian squad as they prepare for the critical third Test. However, KL Rahul, sidelined in the second Test due to a quadriceps injury, has been confirmed to miss the upcoming match in Rajkot due to ongoing fitness issues.

Jadeja's potential return to the field in the third Test offers a glimmer of hope for India as they aim to strengthen their lineup and capitalize on the home advantage in Rajkot. Fans and teammates alike are keenly anticipating the dynamic all-rounder's comeback, which could significantly influence the series' outcome.
