Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has once again launched a brutal attack on the country's cricket board (PCB). The latest saga transpired after the Pakistan Cricket Board's Media account on X (formerly Twitter) posted a tweet on October 17 (Tuesday) and said that it has filed an official complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC) 'regarding inappropriate conduct targeted at the Pakistan squad during the India vs Pakistan match' and also for 'delays in visas for Pakistani journalists'.

"The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has lodged another formal protest with the ICC over delays in visas for Pakistani journalists and the absence of a visa policy for Pakistan fans for the ongoing World Cup 2023," the tweet said.

"The PCB has also filed a complaint regarding inappropriate conduct targeted at the Pakistan squad during the India vs Pakistan match held on 14 October 2023," it added.

Reacting to PCB Media's tweet, Kaneria said that whatever is transpiring is because of the players' and even journalists' own fault. He further added that the PCB should stop finding faults in others.

"Who asked Pakistani journalist Zainab Abbas to comment against India and Hindus? Who asked Mickey Arthur to call ICC event as BCCI event? Who asked Rizwan to perform Namaz in playground? Don’t find faults in others!" Kaneria said in a tweet.

India vs Pakistan

Talking about the match between India and Pakistan that was played on October 14 (Saturday) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Rohit Sharma's men turned the game into a one-sided contest and secured a commanding seven-wicket victory with 19.3 overs to spare.

Captain Rohit starred with the bat once again and played a scintillating knock of 86 runs with the help of six fours and as many sixes. Shreyas Iyer scored an unbeaten half-century while the bowlers, led by Jasprit Bumrah, were impeccable in executing their game plan.
