In an exclusive interview with Sports Tak, Yuvraj highlighted Rohit's extraordinary batting skills and his consistent focus on team success. Under Rohit's captaincy, India has secured 10 consecutive victories in this World Cup, with Rohit himself contributing a substantial 550 runs.

"Rohit Sharma bats on a different level. If he plays 40 balls, he'll score 7-80 runs. If he plays 100 balls, he might score a double hundred. Rohit Sharma is a team player, he's always been a team player. For him, the team always comes first. That's the reason he's been so successful, especially in white-ball cricket," said Yuvraj.

Yuvraj emphasised Rohit's ability to handle pressure adeptly, citing his extensive experience in leading teams to victory in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rohit's impressive IPL career includes six titles, five of which he secured as the captain of the Mumbai Indians, underscoring his leadership qualities.

"The good thing about Rohit is that he's a very good captain under pressure. He's gained a lot of experience with the five IPL titles that he's won. He knows when and how to use his bowlers," Yuvraj added.

The upcoming final presents a thrilling contest between the host nation India, who have been on a remarkable winning streak, and Australia, a team with a rich World Cup legacy. India's journey to the final was marked by their dominant performance throughout the league stage, culminating in a decisive 70-run victory over New Zealand in the semi-final at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.

Australia, on the other hand, ranked third in the group stage, securing seven wins and suffering two losses. Despite initial setbacks against India and South Africa, the Australian team rallied to string together seven wins in their league matches.

This final match between India and Australia is anticipated to be a high-octane clash, showcasing the best of world cricket. With both teams bringing their formidable form and cricketing prowess to the field, the stage is set for an epic showdown in Ahmedabad.
