South Africa captain Aiden Markram revealed his team's plan against Virat Kohli and team India for the final of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 which is scheduled to be played at Kensington Oval Barbados on June 29. This is the first time in the history of the T20 World Cup that South Africa have qualified for the final. On the other hand, this will be India's third appearance in the final of the marquee event.
South Africa will look to create history by winning their first T20 World Cup. Team India will also look to win the final to break their ICC trophy curse. India last won the 2013 Champions Trophy under MS Dhoni's leadership.
“It's come the big final, we all know what a player he has been. So any bit of plan and are you worried about the fact that he has not scored runs in the tournament? I mean, I don't think it worries me” said Markram in pre match conference.
"He's a great player as we all know, but they've got their whole batting units full of great players. Cricket's a game of ups and downs. You're not always going to do well, especially as a batter. We just do our planning, do our preparation from a meeting's point of view for planning towards those batters. Hopefully on the day we can get that right" added Markram.
There are chances that the T20 World Cup 2024 final will be washed out and if the match gets washed out then there is a reserve day.

Barbados weather forecast
As per the Barbados weather forecast, there will be thunderstorms and heavy chances of rain. The precipitation chances can go up to 70 per cent, so it will most likely be playing spoilsport. A couple of games have already been abandoned due to rain earlier as well but hopefully, this won't be the sight during tomorrow's game and the match can proceed and have a result even with a few interruptions. We can constantly expect a stop-start type of game. ICC has allotted 190 minutes of extra time to deal with the rain threat and allow the ground staff to get the ground ready.
