India head coach Rahul Dravid hinted that the star spinner Kuldeep Yadav will likely to feature in the Super 8 clash against Afghanistan which is scheduled to be played at Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 20, Thursday. The finger spinner has not yet been featured in ongoing marquee event in the USA and West Indies.
Dravid said that it is tough to leave anyone out and the management will look at the requirements in the particular venue and here in WIndies there are chances that Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal will feature.
"It's tough to leave anyone out. New York had pace bowlers conditions... slightly different. We might need something different here (in Barbados). Yuzi (Chahal) or Kuldeep (Yadav) could be used here," said Dravid, while interacting with the media on the eve of the Super Eight game.
"We are lucky to have players with all-round abilities. We had eight batters but we (also) had seven bowling options," he added.
This will be India's fifth match in the ongoing T20 World Cup. The Rohit Sharma-led team have qualified for the playoffs after winning three consecutive matches and the third match against Canada was abandoned due to consistent rain in Florida.

Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has played 35 T20Is where he got 59 scalps with an economy of 6.74. He was also featured in the ODI World Cup 2023 which was hosted by India. He picked up 15 wickets in 11 outings with an economy of 4.45.

The pitch of Kennington Oval will help the spinner because the ball will spin it will surely help them to pick wickets. Spinners got 21 wickets here out of 61 in the World Cup. The spinners come across as an excellent defensive option to choke the scoring rate and this will surely put pressure on the bowling side.
India's Semifinal Qualification Scenario
Team India will play three matches in the Super Eight where they will face Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Australia. To book their berth into the semifinals the Men in Blue will have win at least two games.
