To motivate the Men in Green team more, the Saudi ambassador has promised to treat the Babar Azam-led side as royal guests for Hajj next year if they win the ongoing edition of the T20 World Cup 2024.

 

Saudi ambassador's big promise

 

Saudi ambassador wished the Pakistan team luck and said the whole Pakistan nation is waiting to celebrate their win in the T20 World Cup 2024 and said they would host the whole team as royal guests for the Hajj next year if they win the marquee event.

"My brothers (Pakistan team), God willing, you will win this tournament, and the Pakistani nation will celebrate your victory with joy. I also pray for Pakistan’s prosperity and progress. If Pakistan wins the T20 World Cup, the team will be hosted as royal guests for Hajj next year," said the Saudi ambassador in a video message.

Pakistan team will go one-on-one against the hosts United States to start their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign. It will be a crucial game for both sides. USA would be confident after their series win against Bangladesh and a win against Canada in their opening clash. Another win here could potentially bring them closer to the Super 8 stage. On the other hand, Pakistan would be eyeing to make a comeback after losing the series against England. After this clash, it will be time for the big clash against their arch-rivals Team India on June 9. This is also the most much-awaited clash of this season.
