Rohit Sharma-led team India will be felicitated for the T20 World Cup win in Mumbai. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have arranged an open bus road show followed by a felicitation ceremony. Team India are expected to reach New Delhi early Thursday morning (6:20 am) and after that, the Men in Blue will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi for breakfast. After meeting the Prime Minister team India will leave for Mumbai at 9.30 AM IST. After reaching Mumbai airport, the team will move to the Wankhede Stadium. The BCCI has arranged for a 1 km Victory parade from Nariman Point to Wankhede followed by a small ceremony at Wankhede Stadium.

When will India's victory parade scheduled to start?

 

India's victory parade is scheduled to start at 5 PM IST on Thursday in Mumbai.

Where will the victory parade take place?
 

The parade, covering a distance of approximately 2 kilometres from NCPA, Nariman Point, to Wankhede Stadium, promises to be a vibrant display of national pride.

 

India captain Jay Shah and Rohit Sharma invited fans to the victory parade by taking their social media. 

 

BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla on team India felicitation 

 

"The team has left from Barbados on a special Air India flight hired by the BCCI. The Indian journalists who were stuck there (Barbados) are also coming on the same flight along with BCCI president (Roger Binny) and secretary (Jay Shah), who are looking after all the arrangements," BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla told PTI.

 

"The flight will land at Delhi airport tomorrow 6 am. The team will meet PM Narendra Modi at 11 am at his residence. After this, the team will fly to Mumbai, where a ceremony has been organised.

 

"There will be a road show from Nariman Point in an open bus and later we will honour and felicitate the players with the prize money of Rs 125 crore as announced,” he added.
