Birthday proposal
Born on 20th January 1994 in Anand, Gujarat, Axar celebrated his 28th birthday. As birthdays are a special occasion for every individual, Axar decided to make it even more special as he announced his engagement on the same day. Making his birthday memorable, he proposed to his girlfriend Meha during the party. Sharing the pictures, Axar wrote in the caption, "Today marks the new beginning of our life. Together forever. Love you for eternity." Axar had put up "Marry Me" boards all around on his birthday and he proposed to Meha by going down on one knee.
The southpaw made his debut for Team India in 2014 and has been a regular part of the setup for the past few years.

Meha Patel, Axar's finance is a dietician by profession. Meha and Axar were often spotted together. Meha also accompanied Axar during his tour to West Indies. She was present for the T20I match between India and West Indies which was played in Florida earlier this year. A picture of both of them also surfaced on the internet. In the photo, both of them could be seen standing on the beach with their arms around each other. Both of these photos were shared from their respective Instagram handles. However, it is still a mystery as to how these two met. Meha also has a tattoo of Axar's name on one of her hands.
