Australia were reeling at 164/9 in a modest chase of 180 runs. However, despite this, the Australia's tail wagged and took the match to the wire and ultimately won it in the final over with Rafael Macmillan. However, in an attempt to stop the ball from reaching the boundary line, Nasim Shah's younger brother, Ubaid Shah, put in his full effort. But he couldn't stop it, and tears were visible as he hid his face near the boundary line. Additionally, as soon as Pakistan faced defeat, Mohammad Zeeshan, who was bowling at that time, was seen sitting on the pitch and crying. In fact every Pakistani player present on the field shattered was shattered, gutted and heartbroken as no one could control their emotions.

Subsequently, Australia clinched a thrilling victory by just one wicket. Rafael Macmillan, who also dazzled with the ball, remained unbeaten with 19 runs from 29 deliveries batting at number eight. As a result, Australia secured their place in the final of the Under-19 World Cup for the sixth time in history by scoring 181 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 49.1 overs. Now, Australia will face India in the final on February 11.
