Unwanted record of 6

The record of bundling out for the lowest total in the history of women's cricket is jointly held by two teams. Maldives and Mali are the two teams who have the embarrassing record against their names. Both of them recorded the lowest team total of six runs. Coincidently, both the matches were played in the same year i.e 2019. Mali's women team was the first to be dismissed for mere six runs against Rwanda. Batting first, the Mali women's team could only post six runs on the board before the entire team tumbled down in nine overs. Only one batter could open her run account for Mali. Mariam Samake wsa the top scorer for Mali as she scored just one run while rest of the batters were sent packing by Rwanda bowlers with scoring a single run. The rest five runs came by extras. For Rwanda, Josiane Nyirankundineza took three wickets without conceding a single run. In reply, Rwanda won the match in mere four balls.

Sultana hammered 14 fours and three sixes in her 65-ball blitzkrieg while Fargana cracked a century in 53 balls in which she deposited 20 fours into the stands. In Maldives side fell like a stack of cards before Bangladesh's bowling attack. Maldives played 12.1 overs and the entire team was settled for just runs. Shamma Ali remained the top scorer for Maldives with two runs. Sajaa Fatimath and Kinaanath Ismail scored one run each.
