India's star spinner underwent surgery to address a long-standing left groin issue. This medical procedure aims to help him regain peak fitness and prepare for future cricketing commitments. The photos shared by Kuldeep saw him exploring Munich's beautiful landscapes.

Fans have expressed their well wishes for Kuldeep Yadav's speedy recovery, eagerly awaiting his return to the cricket field.

Kuldeep Yadav was notably absent from India's 18-member squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, along with other key players like Mohammed Shami and Axar Patel.

The left-arm wrist-spinner had played the first Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru but was replaced by Washington Sundar for the second Test in Pune.

The BCCI has provided an explanation for Kuldeep Yadav's exclusion from the Indian squad for the tour of Australia.

"Kuldeep Yadav was unavailable for selection for the tour of Australia since he has been referred to the BCCI Centre of Excellence after the end of the ongoing Test series against New Zealand for long term resolution of his chronic left groin issue," the Board had said.

Kuldeep Yadav's performance in the first Test against New Zealand was noteworthy, particularly his three-wicket haul in the first innings. Among his victims was Rachin Ravindra, whose dismissal played a crucial role in India's eventual eight-wicket victory.

Team India will certainly miss the spin prowess of Kuldeep in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy which will be a five-Test contest between India and Australia. Notably, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will commence with the first Test in Perth on November 22. The second Test, a day-night affair, will be held at the Adelaide Oval from December 6 to 10. The series will then move to The Gabba in Brisbane for the third Test, scheduled from December 14 to 18. The traditional Boxing Day Test will take place at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground from December 26 to 30. The final Test of the series will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground from January 3rd to 7th, promising a thrilling conclusion to the highly anticipated series.
