"I am excited to announce a fresh start with Sporting Beyond, my new team, who have been working with me for a while now," Virat Kohli said in a statement on social media.

"The team at Sporting Beyond shares my goals and my values of transparency, integrity and a love for sport, in all its forms. This opens a new chapter for me as I look forward to my partnership with my new team, who will be working with me on all of my business interests," he added.

Virat Kohli, one of the most recognisable and marketable figures in world cricket, has captivated audiences for over a decade. Despite retiring from T20I cricket after leading India to a World Cup victory earlier this year, he continues to be a force in Test and ODI cricket. Kohli's next challenge will be the highly anticipated five-match Test series against Australia, commencing on November 22nd in Perth.

Kohli is one of India's most valuable celebrities. His brand value soared by 29% to reach an impressive USD 227.9 million, as per Kroll's Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2023. Kohli's dominance in the endorsement market is driven by several factors. His substantial social media following and active engagement with his fans significantly enhance his influence. Additionally, his illustrious cricketing career, marked by numerous achievements and consistent performance, makes him a highly sought-after brand ambassador.

Kohli's cricketing journey in 2024 has been a mix of highs and lows. While he achieved significant milestones, he also encountered challenges. After missing the England Test series earlier in the year, Kohli made a strong comeback to help India clinch the T20 World Cup in Barbados. However, his recent form, especially in the Test series against New Zealand, has been inconsistent, leading to low scores and contributing to India's 3-0 series defeat.

As a result of his inconsistent form, Kohli's rankings have slipped. He is currently ranked 22nd in the latest ICC Test rankings, trailing behind Pakistan's Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan.
