India wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant faced an injury blow during the third Test match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 taking place at Lord's Stadium in London. The incident happened during the first ball of the 34th over when Jasprit Bumrah was bowling.

Pant had managed to get his hands on the ball but could not stop it entirely as England batters Joe Root and Ollie Pope scampered for a couple. Bumrah's delivery smashed on Pant's left hand, and after the incident, he jumped around. The physio came out quickly and pulled out the spray. After watching him in heavy pain, the wicketkeeper batter left the field midway after the over, and Dhruv Jurel was stationed behind the wickets.
