The clash between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 1 is all set to kick off the playoffs stage of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The match will decide the first finalist of this season and will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, on May 21 (Tuesday). However, recently rain has played spoilsport in some matches and fans are worried if this will be the scene in the KKR vs SRH game.

As per the Ahmedabad weather forecast, the sky might remain partly cloudy but it is very unlikely to witness rain on May 21. This is good news for everyone that weather might not play any factor here in this clash. However, the weather has been quite unpredictable and have caused a washout on several occasions.

Is there a reserve day for KKR vs SRH Qualifier 1 clash?

 

There is no reserve day available for the big KKR vs SRH clash in IPL 2024 Qualifier 1. In fact, unlike the regular seasons, there are no reserve days available for the IPL playoffs. This is because the Eliminator between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is scheduled for the following day. i.e on May 22.

 

What happens if KKR vs SRH gets washed out?

 

Sunrisers Hyderabad would be hoping that there's no sight of rain. On the other hand, KKR who got their last two games canceled due to rain can actually seal the spot straight to the finals if this match gets abandoned as well. Since KKR topped the league, they'd secure a final berth, while SRH would head to Chennai to play the Qualifier 2.
