Former Indian pacer S Sreesanth is believed to be taking part in the upcoming auction after he could not successfully register his name for last year’s auction.
Base price
As per the ESPNcricinfo report, Sreesanth’s base price is going to be INR 50 lakhs.
He has previously been a part of three different IPL teams- Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings), Rajasthan Royals and Kochi Tuskers Kerala (now-defunct).

In 2013, Sreesanth, who was a part of Rajasthan Royals team, faced a ban because of his alleged involvement in the spot-fixing incident that had jolted Indian cricket.
Sreesanth's comeback
The 38-year-old right-arm fast bowler is now aiming to make a comeback to the IPL and will time tell whether he manages to handle this successfully.
Cricketers from different parts of the world- Australia, South Africa, Bhutan, Namibia, Oman and many other countries will feature in the upcoming IPL auction.
The new team Ahmedabad had signed in Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya and Indian batsman Shubman Gill. Pandya will be seen as the leader of the Ahmedabad side. The prolific Indian all-rounder was signed for Rs 15 crore.
