On Thursday (May 19) night, Team India and former RCB skipper Virat Kohli smashed a century after almost four years. The happiness of his century doubled when RCB won the do-or-die match. To share in his happiness, Kohli video called superstar actress and wife Anushka Sharma as soon as the match ended, before going to the dressing room to meet the rest of the players.

Kohli played an innings off 100 runs in 63 balls. SRH scored 186 runs in the first innings based off Heinrich Klaasen's 104 runs. But in response, Kohli played a powerful inning of 100 runs in 63 balls for RCB and led his team to victory. After almost four years, Kohli scored the sixth century of his IPL career.

Video call to Anushka
After scoring a century, Kohli was seen talking to Anushka on a video call. A picture of the same has gone viral. Anushka also shared a picture of Kohli on her Instagram and put a picture of a firecracker. She wrote 'what a wonderful innings'.

Anushka is often seen in the stadium to watch the matches in Bangalore but she was not present for the match against SRH.

Closer to the IPL 2023 playoffs
Their win over SRH took RCB closer to the playoffs. they will have to win their last league stage match. However, this match is not going to be easy as they face Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans (GT), who are on top of the points table heading into the last match of the tournament. If RCB win against Gujarat, they will finish with 16 points.

If Mumbai Indians (MI) also win the final match against Hyderabad, then both teams will have 16 points. But the net run rate of RCB is better so they will go through.

What if RCB loses?
On the other hand, if the RCB team loses in the match against GT then he will have to pray for defeat in the last league matches of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI). After this, the last teams to make it to the playoffs will be decided on the basis of Net Run Rate (NRR). But if Mumbai Indians (MI) win the last league match and RCB loses then MI will qualify for the playoffs.
