The winner of PBKS vs MI will finish in top two.

Mumbai Indians are high on confidence with a comprehensive win over Delhi Capitals.

The fixture between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) is not just a formality with Indian Premier League (IPL) playoffs spots confirmed. The winner of the fixture will get a spot in the top two and will play in the Qualifier 1. With Gujarat Titans (GT) losing two on the trot. PBKS and MI have a chance to top the table as well. However, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) may have the final say as they take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on May 27.

PBKS are unlikely to tinker with their combination despite the six-wicket defeat to Delhi Capitals (DC). Their main concern is star leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal's absence. Chahal is nursing a wrist injury and may sit on the sidelines once again. In his absence, Praveen Dubey got a chance and he got a wicket of debutant Sediqullah Atal. Meanwhile, Azmatullah Omarzai has not been impressive with the ball. Captain Shreyas Iyer has an option to replace him with Kyle Jamieson.

There can be a toss-up between leg-spinner Karn Sharma and left-arm pacer Ashwani Kumar depending on the conditions. Ryan Rickelton, Will Jacks and Corbin Bosch will leave the squad after the game against PBKS. Bosch is likely to sit on sidelines for this game as well.
