Rain causes washout of the third T20I.

Star batter Babar Azam is just as big as Virat Kohli for Pakistan fans and many rising players and young fans not only idolise him but also wish to meet him in person and they obviously get disheartened when they don't get to meet him despite being in front of him. Another such incident occurred in England, where the Pakistan cricket team is currently playing a four-match T20I series. A young kid was heartbroken after he failed to get Babar's autograph but pacer Naseem Shah won everyone's heart after signing a fake autograph on behalf of the Pakistan captain to make the kid's day.

In a video which is going viral on the internet, a group of young fans can be seen approaching Babar Azam. However, the star player signs an autograph for one of the fans before leaving into the nearby lift. However, this left one of the young kids disheartened but Naseem Shah made sure to make the kid's day. He not only gave him his autograph but also gave him one on behalf of Babar to cheer him up.

The young child then asked Naseem, "Yeh Babar Azam ka hai?" (Is this Babar Azam's?). Naseem tried to reassure the kid and replied, "Haan, yeh Babar Azam ka hi hai." (Yes, this is Babar Azam's). The video is now creating a lot of buzz in the social space.

Pakistan eye to level the series

Currently, Pakistan is touring England for a four-match T20I series in order to prepare for the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 which will be held in the United States and West Indies. The hosts won the second T20I after the first one got washed out due to rain. However, the third clash saw a similar outcome as the first one after rain forced to abandon the match without a single ball being bowled. Now, the Men in Green would be eyeing to bounce back and level the series 1-1 after winning the fourth and final T20I. A series loss here would be a confidence crusher for the former champions ahead of the marquee event in June.
